AutoLoop financial model

A credible path to €100m ARR.
Built once, sold per asset, plant and partner.

AutoLoop is a vendor-neutral optimisation layer that sits on a plant's existing PLC, OPC UA and MQTT stack. Mid-size moulders are the wedge. Revenue scales through multi-plant enterprises, more cell types per plant, a plant energy module, OEM and integrator channels, and three regions. Every number on this page is a live input. Sources and assumptions are in section 7.

Customer ROI: one product, two layers of value

Layer 1, per part: better setpoints mean less scrap and fewer kWh per part. Layer 2, price timing: flexible loads (resin dryers, chillers, mould temperature units, compressed air) are moved into cheap, negative-price or PV-surplus 15-minute slots and away from evening peaks, without touching the process. The customer sees one number: € of energy per good part.

02

Pricing: per asset, per plant, per enterprise

The cell tiers follow the trust ladder: shadow, then operator approval, then autonomous inside the safety envelope. On top of the cell tiers, each plant buys an energy module, and enterprises pay for fleet learning across plants. ACV per plant grows as more cell types are added.

Plant-level modules

Flexibility revenue is paid by grid operators and aggregators for the plant's shiftable load (chillers, compressors, dryers). AutoLoop keeps a share and the plant keeps the rest.

Bottom-up plan, 2027 to 2032

Four engines in one quarterly model. (1) Mid-market moulders land on 10 machines and expand to the fleet. (2) Enterprises with 10 to 40 plants roll out plant by plant under one agreement. (3) OEM and integrator partners embed AutoLoop in machines they sell and pass on a revenue share. (4) North America and Asia open on a timeline.

Funding path: the €250K pre-seed and the rounds after it

The pre-seed proves the wedge. Each later round is sized to cover the burn until the next ARR milestone, using 2025-26 benchmarks for round size and dilution.

Market: where €100m fits

The original $150m year-5 SOM covered moulding only. The expanded business addresses advanced process control plus industrial energy optimisation, so the relevant SAM is the software part of those two markets.
